Studio 6 Suites Memphis, TN East Memphis

I've stayed here a couple of times before and found it to be ok for the money. The facility in Birmingham was much better quality (it felt newer and cleaner), but the staff was not as welcoming. In Memphis, the remodeling starts at the room. The carpeting in the hallway outside of the room looks old and has an odor. For the most part, the staff was pleasant, except my dog was accused of pooping in my room by housekeeping, but we had only been checked in for a couple of hours, and housekeeping hadn't been in our room during that time. I had to have someone turn on the ac since the buttons were all missing, and the ones I tried to push didn't do anything, but that was within the first 10 minutes we were there. As a dog owner and my prior experience as an rv park manager, I know that dealing with irresponsible dog owners and pet waste are a constant and frustrating thing, but I was put off by the accusation (especially after I picked up after someone who left poop outside the hotel this morning when I took my dog out).

Friendly and helpful staff that went above and beyond. I also loved the fact that I was always seeing them cleaning and fixing/painting things that needed it soon as it needed it.

The property was clean and the staff was extremely nice and polite.
